Summary:

Stylist - a cutting-edge fashion technology company, is seeking a co-founder with a strong technology background to join their early-stage team. The startup is focused on revolutionising the fashion industry by providing users with quick and personalised feedback on their fashion choices. Leveraging the expertise of fashion experts, the platform aims to boost confidence in personal style.

The product is currently being developed with the assistance of talented students from IIT Kanpur. The existing team comprises a founder - an ex-strategy consultant and an MBA from IIM Calcutta - along with a group of six members from IIT Kanpur, SRCC, and NIFT. The product's beta version is slated for a mid-July launch.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the founder and the existing team to shape the technical vision and overall strategy of the startup.

- Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

- Build and manage a strong technology team, including hiring and mentoring engineers and developers.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

- Drive innovation and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in fashion technology.

- Work closely with fashion experts and designers to understand user needs and deliver a seamless and personalised experience.

- Establish and maintain partnerships with technology vendors, industry stakeholders, and potential investors.

- Contribute to fundraising efforts and pitch the company's technological capabilities to potential investors.

- Help shape the company culture and values, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.

- Support marketing and growth initiatives, ensuring the technology aligns with business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Engineering graduates from IITs or top-tier institutes in India or abroad

- High interest in fashion and consumer business.

- 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in product development.

- This is not a salaried position as of now, however, expecting to expand and raise capital towards the end of 2023. The co-founder will be in a strong position to build and lead a tech team from scratch and generate wealth.
