Solutions Manager
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Own the solution vision
- Understand market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics to refine the evolution roadmap on an ongoing basis
- Working closely with and influencing Sales, Marketing, Operations/Delivery and other functions to drive selling, marketing and delivery of the solution propositions.
- Engaging and working closely with the Head of Assets and Operations/Delivery team to identify and evaluate accelerators and boosters (assets) that will strengthen the solution proposition
- Work closely with the technology/engineering team to determine the best technical implementation methods and a reasonable execution schedule for an embedded product (if required) that underpin the solution
Ideal Candidate :
- Understanding of the analytics project life cycle and analytics use cases in a business environment strongly preferred
- Experience in delivering analytics projects to customers in CPG and/or Retail sectors strongly preferred
- In depth understanding on application of analytics, ML, and AI techniques on commercial large-scale datasets
- Experience in product management, governance, and agile methodologies preferred
- Experience in following tools/techniques/platforms preferred: statistical and econometric modelling, R/Python, Tableau / Qlik / MicroSrategy
- Passionate about delighting customers through strong value propositions and experience
- Superior problem solving abilities, logical reasoning, and strong analytical thinking
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), story-telling and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build relationships, collaborate, and influence all levels within an organisation
- Self-motivated, ability to structure and manage workstreams for self and small groups
- Mature individual with a professional work ethic, and focus on delivering to timelines
- Strategic thinker who can plan 2-3 steps ahead and surface hidden risks 2-3 levels deep
- Desire to work in a fast paced, hands-on work environment
- Motivated, fast thinking, dynamic person with strong business acumen
- Highly organised and attentive to detail
