Job Description for Account Manager :

At The Rolling Circle, Account Managers are responsible for the management of customer accounts and on-going projects. They work to ensure existing clients are delighted with the service they receive from us and also identify new clients and business opportunities to work with Business Growth teams.

Role : Account Manager - Creative Digital Services

No. of positions : 2

Location : Mumbai

Experience : Minimum 2 years of relevant experience CTC - Open to negotiation for the right candidates.

Candidates from MICA and other candidates with experience in Digital Marketing/ Creative agencies in relevant roles are preferred.

We need experienced Account Managers to help us manage our client relationships and account operations. The Account Managers will be the direct interface between The Rolling Circle and the client accounts that they manage, for account strategy, planning, campaign management, day to day tasks, all operations related interaction between all stakeholders and client servicing. They would need to ensure that the client is serviced well and will need to become customer delight champions to succeed in this role.

You'll get to work on the ground zero of a new age Creative Digital agency with specialized digital brand content development as its USP, in a flat and lean early stage bootstrapped business. The learning curve is steep and goes beyond your stated role as everybody needs to wear multiple hats in such setup. Team members are expected to be entrepreneurial and resourceful.

KPIs and Day-to-day Activities :

- Manage a portfolio of client accounts

- Complete project management and client servicing ownership

- Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face to face contact, meetings and other forms of communications

- Arrange and attend meetings with clients

- Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests

- Coordinate with other departments in the organisation in order to facilitate client requests

- Identify new client relationships and make pitches to potential new clients

- Give presentations about their organisation's products or services

- If applicable, manage a budget and achieve targets

- If necessary, manage a team of account executives and arrange training for them

- If necessary, participate or lead hiring for account executives and growing the team

- Generate accurate reports on the status of existing accounts and new business

- Ensure clients pay on time

Key Skills :

- Account managers need the confidence to interact with clients and make presentations. 


- They should have no qualms about working under pressure.


- They must have excellent written & verbal communication skills, presentation and strong inter-personal skills, allied with the ability to negotiate and sell products.

- As with the account executives they manage, account managers need to be resilient because they will be held accountable if a client ceases to do business with their organisation, as some inevitably will.

- Account managers should be naturally well organised because they are likely to have to manage a portfolio of accounts, see that none are neglected, and work to meet deadlines.

- They need to be good with financial data as they will have to regularly report on the status of client accounts. People management skills are a necessity.
