We help applicants in developing an admissions strategy, preparing application components and navigating the complex admissions process to institutions worldwide. We currently have 35 team members in Mumbai and 25 others in locations around the world. Our office is located at Nirlon House in Worli (Mumbai).   Associate, Human Resource   The Red Pen continues to grow as a family across India and around the world; we are seeking an Associate, HR with intrapersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and understanding of human resources issues throughout the business processes. He should be a people-person, analytical and adept at structured communication. This position reports to the Senior Manager of HR.  Responsibilities:  - Support in recruitment and hiring, assessment, background checks, college relationship management and, temporary staffing. Tasks include posting job ads and organizing resumes, scheduling job interviews, and other tasks where required.  - Maintaining current HR files and databases - updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records.  - Ensure on-boarding & orientation of new hires, support in training and development for managers and employees, including workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, and standardized reports.  - Managing a variety of employee relation matters, including employee engagement activities.  - Supporting Senior Manager of HR in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives and the overall business strategies. Support in assessment & mapping of capabilities of existing employees vs. organization's needs. Develop people strategies that drive results.  - Administer performance management process including appraisals, surveys and adjustments in contracts.  - Supporting Senior Manager of HR in other related areas.  Key Skills:   - Strong competency within key human resource functions including HR counsel; culture development, employee relations, internal communications, change management and team building.  - A pro-active, high energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.  - Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.  - Problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve programs in a timely manner.  Requirements:   - Bachelor's/Master's degree.
