We accomplish this thorough research and understanding of beneficiaries- needs, research and design of innovative solutions and models and assessment and analyses of outputs, outcomes and impact. You will be joining a group high on passion and analytical rigor. - Currently our model focuses on making underprivileged youth ready for life and career by coaching them on mindsets, behaviors, technical and trade skills and adult literacy and by solving for psychological, financial and informational barriers that prevent a student from graduating out of poverty. - We are now expanding on vision of serving the underprivileged by researching and piloting new initiatives under the umbrella of. Key focus areas under this umbrella will be Innovation &amp; Action, Knowledge &amp; Research, Technology &amp; Platforms, Collaboration &amp; Convention and Programs. - Through this JD, we invite applicants to work in the Knowledge &amp; Research division, a key pillar of this umbrella. This division will focus on conducting research studies in the skill development and entrepreneurship space on problem statements of national interest. At the moment, we are inviting applicants with a wide range of experience and skill sets. Roles and designation will be discussed during the interview process and after. Roles &amp; Responsibilities : - You will flourish in this team if you love to deep dive on problem statements, synthesise key insights from a wide array of data points and perspectives, continuously improve, are collaborative and results-driven, and have fun while working hard. At The/Nudge, you will, - Own end-to-end research, analysis and publication of reports - Own management of research teams (in-house or outsourced) to deliver research projects - Own research, synthesis of problem statements, alignment with key stakeholders on - problem statements - Own development of study design, analytical methods, outcomes and resource requirements - Own analysis and synthesis of key recommendations (solutions, policy change etc) - Own communication with and management of stakeholders for each research study - Own development of key success metrics and measurement of delivery for the function Apply if you - - Masters in Economics or Development Economics, Masters in Public Policy, Masters in Statistics, or MBA from Tier 1 school. (Good to have : PhD in relevant discipline) - Have strong passion for poverty alleviation and educational programs - Have experience in supervising research teams, survey design, data collection, data management and analysis - Have experience in managing research projects and interfacing with clients or donors - Have expert understanding of statistics, research and economic concepts - Have working expertise in Stata / R and digital data collection platforms (Open Data Kit, Survey CTO) - Strong written and oral communication skills and complete fluency in English is required - Can stretch beyond call of duty, fully own your work and be responsible for outcomes - Are comfortable working and problem solving under uncertainty - Have experience in creative problem solving at work (in any stream) - Strong critical thinking, analytical reasoning skills
