Experience: 1. The candidate should have atleast 4 years of work experience with leading modern trade chains with relationships with buyers/category managers 2. The candidate should have independently closed deals with large chains including negotiations, listing and onboarding 3. The candidate should also have experience in MT operations with handling a team to ensure PO generation, fulfilment and demand generation activities 4. Should have seen rapid progression through his career 5. Should have managed sales teams of at least 4 people across multiple levels of reporting a. Team reporting b. Team motivation and management c. Drawing upbeat plans and demand generation programs 6. Should have worked in smaller/new age startup FMCG companies 7. Experience of the following would be an added plus a. Working in a super high growth FMCG environment b. Setting up a sales network and a sales team from scratch Responsibilities: 1. Business development in modern trade - opening up business with new chains, adding new SKUs/categories in existing chains 2. Modern trade operations - Order generation, order fulfilment, buyer/category manager relations and store management. Demand and inventory planning 3. Demand generation - handling promoter activities and ensuring demand generation through direct contact with shoppers 4. Demand generation - managing promotional calendars with category manager. Running deals, promotions in a cost-effective way 5. Demand generation - BTL activities in association with retail partners
