HR Manager - Generalist

The HR Manager is a dual role with 60% focus on recruitment and 40% with HR administration responsibilities. This is a generalist role and has multiple functions, which are detailed below. As a start up organization this role is the focal point for all HR related issues. This role is a critical role as it involves both operational requirements as well as an opportunity for the right person to help build the right strategies and initiatives (with the direction from the CEO and senior leadership) that help build the right work culture to create an innovative organization.

Recruitment :

The Little Gym is growing rapidly as an organization. We currently have 12 operational centers in the country with an additional 6 more centers under development. We expect to add between 10-15 centers each year with the goal to have at least 100 centers in the next 5 years. Each center has approximately 6 people and they are a combination of Center Heads (Revenue responsibility), Program Mangers (lead Instructor and quality manager) and Instructors/Gymnasts. To support this growth, the recruitment manager will:

- Be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the recruitment process in the organization

- Be the focus point for all recruitment process including its JD- s, coordination with senior leadership

- Develop a steady pool of resources from all types of sources (Internal Leads, College recruitment, etc.)

- Formalize an effective referral program for the Company

- Manage the entire on boarding process including providing offer letters, keeping records/agreements etc.

- Be responsible for building Quality Relationship with the internal and external customers (franchise owners)

- Monitor and manage by constantly reducing the costs and increase the efficiency of the recruitment process

- Explore the Best Practices in the industry and implement the same at The Little Gym

- Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization

- Conducts all first level job interviews

- Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant

- Acts as a single point of contact for managers/franchise owners regarding recruitment topics in the company

- Build long term strategic relationships with colleges and to develop a sustainable funnel

- Works closely with the training department and Operations to plan for quarterly budgets and goals

- Will be responsible for all sub functions within the recruitment process

HR Administration :

The Little Gym is a flat organization and currently expects to hire only one manager in the HR function. Therefore, this role has an incredible opportunity for both responsibility and growth. The strategic direction of the HR function is driven by the CEO and the senior leadership of the company. Having stated that, this position enjoys tremendous freedom to research, innovate and implement global best practices in the HR function. Our endeavor is to build a unique work environment and culture and this position is a catalyst for that goal. This person will:

- Be responsible for developing and implementing the HR policies

- Be responsible to manage the entire Performance Management & Evaluation process

- Be responsible for creating and implementing the Rewards & Recognition Programs

- Be responsible for all internal HR programs

- Work closely with Accounts and Finance to develop the compensation programs

- Work closely with the entire leadership team to develop all of the above

Desired Skills :

- 3 to 4 years of Industry recruiting & HR experience

- Strong knowledge of recruitment process and go getter attitude to deliver results

- Excellent communication & Negotiation skills

- Proven Interviewing Skills

- Managerial and leadership skills

- Strong Analytical Skills is an added advantage

- Social Media Knowledge (specific to recruitment and HR practices in the industry)

- A master's degree in HR or Psychology is preferable

- An aptitude to do research and read about the best practices

- Strong writing skills required
