Job description : 

We are seeking for a highly motivated, creative, and energetic Human Resources enthusiast, to be part of The Hindu's Talent Development Team (Talent Acquisition & Learning & Development) in the HR function based at the Corporate Office, Chennai.

This role will primarily : 

Work in collaboration with the company's recruiting team for managing the sourcing, interviewing, selection, and employment procedures.

Assist in creating, developing, and promoting innovative and diverse learning programs

Desired Candidate profile:

a) Age group : 30 - 35 years

b) Qualification : MBA Human Resources, Degree/ Diploma / Certification

in Training & Development would be an advantage.

c) Work experience : 8-10 years

Roles and Responsibilities:

TALENT ACQUISITION & DEVELOPMENT : 

- Developing new procedures for recruiting (e.g., application, onboarding processes) and also improving the current practices

- Keeping track of all recruiting metrics (e.g., cost-per-hire, time-to-hire)

- Implementing new methods for sourcing candidates

- Well networked in the HR forums, Participation in career events and professional networking with potential candidates and HR professionals

- Thorough knowledge of labour regulations and keeping self updated

- Advising the Hiring Managers on selecting effective interviewing techniques

- Ideate on ways for improving the employer brand of the company

- Reviewing recruitment channels and software for suggesting viable options

- Extensive knowledge in social media hiring, utilization of job portals

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT

- Assess Learning needs and ensure all the training needs are aligned with the business objectives.

- Assist in designing, developing and curating content for learning module including E-Learning / LMS in consultation with other stakeholders

- Maintain Training Data Base and Dashboard: Faculty based on various specialization, venues and its costs and benefits at all our branches.

- Developing thematic training materials - video/stories/articles etc from a variety of sources.

- Develop and maintain organizational communication such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees are aware of training and development events and resources.

- Evaluate and measure effectiveness of the training programs

- Effectively manage the in house LMS administration by providing daily support as well as keeping the operations of the LMS stable.

- Defining user roles, creating learning courses, Building custom certification

 -Designing exciting and engaging innovative onboarding program and ensure Induction deck is updated with current policies and procedures

- Designing, reviewing feedback questionnaires, online survey forms for the learners

- Ensure communication on training programs are designed and delivered to all concerned well on time

- MIS reports on Learning and Recruitment

- Assisting with special projects from time to time which includes research, writing and coordination with teams across - programs and functions.

Proficiency:

1. Advanced MS Excel, Data analytics, MIS reports and dashboard creation

Languages: English, Tamil & Hindi preferred.

2. Knowledge in the administration of Moodle3.0x will be an added advantage
