We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Manager - R&amp;D to join our team. As a Manager R &amp; D at The Better Home, Bangalore, you will : - Expand Home Care product portfolio by launching new products as per the organisation's requirements. - Engage with the brand development team in the ideation phase to develop new concepts till launch stage. - Coordinate with commercial, packaging, marketing, supply chain teams to carry out product commercialization. - Evaluate new products with the help of internal and external customers. - Carry out technology transfer of new products from lab to production scale. - Take ownership of improving / value engineering of existing products to improve product quality and margins. - Co-ordinate with manufacturing units for any possible troubleshooting. - Develop alternate vendors so as to improve supply chain and/or improve margins. - Prepare documentation for all newly launched products. - Look for ways to continuously improve existing portfolio - Continuously innovate through new product introduction. - Identify and develop manufacturing units for new products. - Conduct a preliminary audit of mfg. unit w.r.t. capacity and capability to manufacture selected products. - Be responsible for preliminary costing &amp; prototype development. - Identify major RM, ingredients, specific inputs like fragrance, functional ingredient, etc. Educational Qualification:- Min. Graduation in Chemistry. B.Tech., M.Tech., PhDs welcome. Experience:- 8 - 10 years of experience in Product Development in the areas of Home Care Products viz. Hard Surface Cleaners, Laundry Care, Air Care. Additional experience in Personal Care product development is preferred.
