ABOUT THE ORGANISATION :

The Antara Foundation (TAF) is a non-profit working in India's public health space. The organisation aims to help change some of India's worst health outcomes, especially in maternal and child health. The focus is on designing and implementing innovations to achieve delivery at scale. TAF works in partnership with various State governments, with its programs running across Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

TAF was founded by Ashok Alexander, former director at McKinsey & Company and India country director of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). The organisation's mentors include Bill Gates and Arjun Malhotra. For more information, visit antarafoundation.org

POSITION :

- Draft content for a variety of communications material (e.g., newsletters, annual reports, website pages, TAF profile notes, proposals).

- Support creation of creative multimedia content (e.g., storylines for films, case studies, brochures).

- Support the team in carrying out fundraising campaigns (e.g., setting up campaign pages online, dissemination/publicity material, post-campaign follow-ups).

- Support the organization's social media presence (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) - content creation and posting, regular engagement.

- Increase visibility and networks on digital platforms (e.g., online groups and forums, social media networks)

- Disseminate communications material (e.g., direct mail, digital platforms).

- Update and enhance pages on the organization's website.

- Research and analysis to support communications (e.g., health/social sector research for articles, thought leadership pieces, blogs) and donor development (e.g., research on grant opportunities, potential donors, philanthropic markets).

- Coordinate internally and externally for miscellaneous communications tasks (e.g., website vendors, digital marketing vendors, communications/media queries).

- Assist the team in tasks for any internal or external events (e.g., conferences, webinars).

- Other related activities that may come up from time to time.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS :

- Graduate or post-graduate (no specific qualifications); 2-5 years- experience

- Relevant prior experience in communications-related streams will be given preference (e.g., writing, film-making, design, story-telling, social media)
