Territory Manager - Sales - Publishing - Bangladesh Region

We are looking for self motivated middle level manager to manage and develop sales in Bangaladesh region.

What you'll be doing:

1. Developing and implementing sales strategy for digital & print books in Bangladesh in partnership with the General Manager- Sales Operations

2. Responsible sustained flow of investment by Bangladesh based distributors on new and key backlist products and business models. Swift action to resolve issues and create opportunities at end-user level for stock liquidation leading to re-orders

3. Maintaining knowledge of the industry and competition in Bangladesh and reporting back to the management via monthly/weekly/daily report

4. Achieving the assigned sales target in most efficient manner

5. Establishing new business opportunities through innovative interventions into product list and markets opportunities

6. Collaboration with all concerned internal departments to ensure smooth service the customer and end-users

7. Self-motivation and openness for taking new assignments within the role

What were looking for:

1. Bachelors degree with 5 to 15 years of work experience preferably in academic libraries.

2. Strong understanding of HSS and S&T subjects.

3. Work experience in Bangaldesh will be preferred

4. Excellent presentation skills.

5. Strong communication skill (oral and written).

6. Spoken skills in bengali language will be an added advantage.

7. Travel across the Bangladesh (40% to 50% yearly).

8. Kolkata base would be a preference.
