Primary skills:

- Total – 12 to 14 years experience

- Atleast 3+ years of experience in LDM

- Knowledge of Logical Data Model Concepts

- Must have worked in Teradata 12.0 or greater environments.

- Experience in working with Business SME’s & Information Management teams in order to develop a Conceptual data model, in line with standards

- Hands-on experience in creating logical model from conceptual model

- Experience in creation of data mapping document

- Experience of client facing Business Intelligence development

- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical clients

- Excellent Analysis, Interviewing and detailed design skills including impact analysis assessments.

- Good Written/Communication Skills

- Hands-on experience in maintenance of Meta-data and source data model in multi user environment

- Good working knowledge on Erwin

- Good working knowledge on SQL

- Experience in data profiling

- Basic project planning experience

- Need to be a very good team player

Secondary skills:

- Knowledge of best practices in the logical modeling and ability to contribute to the organisation standards

- Ability to work independently and without supervision

- Erwin experience will be added advantage.

- Comfortable working within a multi-organisation environment

- Ability to fit in / adapt to a geographically mobile consulting environment

- Ability to work with senior team in order to escalate risks and issues, report progress and flag dependencies or design issues

- Exposure to Teradata utilities like SQL Assistant, Teradata Adminstrator

- Ability to share business knowledge and support the development team during project lifecycle

- Experience in iLDM customisation is nice to have

- Exposure to query tuning. Good understanding of ETL methodology.

- Should be able to lead the pool of Modellers.

- Should be able to perform review checks on the Model produced by the Team.

- Mentor new members in the team and scale them up to perform the Modelling activities
