Technology Officer - Wireless IoT Devices

- Minimum 12 to 15 years experience in design and development of video-audio based wireless IoT devices on AWS ecosystem and cloud platform driving electronics hardware and firmware, mobile app and cloud API development project.

- Familiarity with firmware development and video analytics use case development (face recognition, motion detection, etc.)

- Experience in developing video and audio based wireless IoT products like set-top boxes, mobile phones, IoT devices and apps, etc.

- End to End product development including hardware, firmware, cloud development and mobile app development on wireless IOT framework for video and audio devices.

- Experience in serverless architecture like AWS Fargate, Lambda, EC2 and monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, Prometheus. Integrating third party libraries and API. Familiar with RESTful API JSON formats

- Experience in P2P transmission of audio and video

- Product development of Video and Audio Technology.

- Hands-on experience of mobile app on native / Hybrid platforms.

1) Lead end-to-end product development and certification of surveillance Camera (video and audio) and related security products on cloud IOT platform.

- Being surveillance product, security aspects in design of each eco-system needs to be considered including hardware hardening, end to end encryption, cloud security, mobile app security.

- Being part of the EHSS strategy team, work out with product development stakeholders both inhouse and vendor partners.

- Decide on architecture for cloud APIs, for mobile app develop UI/UX, app framework, wireframes, Selection of processor and other components in hardware, Firmware routines

- Communication protocols, APIs, wireframes.

- IOT Commands needs to be frozen and timely implemented.

- Coordinate with testing laboratories and preparation of product documentation to get product certifications like CE, FCC, RoHS WPC, BIS approvals, VAPT testing etc

2) Establishing development process and team building:

- Participate in CFTs to formulate roadmap against EHSS AOP/SBP.

- Product development review process vis-A-vis product development plan.

- Developing existing team and acquiring technical talent.

- Develop Process framework, technical knowhow.

- Benchmarking with best industry practices and competition on new product development and their architecture. Study of global trends for new technology adaption, EHSS innovation.

- Building Knowledge repository.

3) Lead in-house development team and external vendor partners for the product and ecosystem development and troubleshooting

- Guide coding team whenever they are stuck in technical issues.

- Troubleshoot to identify bugs in multiple stake holder programs.

- Debugging tools, getting SDK bugs resolution.

4) Product Enhancement

- End to end product feature updates based on SDK or android or iOS updates or any feature enhancements in existing firmware.

- Enhancements based on architecture improvements, optimizing performance.

5) System Performance:

- Guide to teams to keep cloud environment and microservices up and running 24 X 7 software modules to ensure structure and coding guidelines. Develop and lead team of 24 X 7 cloud maintenance engineers and support them.

6) ERM:

- Liaison with stakeholders like corporate imports, Legal and others to identify project risks and mitigation plan to prepare risk matrix. As far as possible use General Public License (GPL) in codes so that IPR are not infringed.

7) Organization Imperatives:

- Driving team and personal participation in divisional initiatives like IMS, Kaizens, Business Excellence, PMO, etc.
