DWH /BI manager role, Should have worked in emerging technologies like Bigdata etc. Need someone with 14 - 18 years of experience Good in Team handling, Stakeholder Management and Flexible to work in long extended hours .They want someone preferably from captives or worked a lot in Banking domain, If they have mortgage domain that would be perfect fit

Detailed JD :

- As a Technology Manager, s/he will be responsible for ensuring delivery management, career management for team members working under him/her.

- Proven leadership abilities in past managing teams. Proven ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of contacts including business and technical groups easily, ability to communicate with various levels of management.

- Demonstrated previous experience with estimating and sizing enhancements and new large complex projects.

- Good leadership skills, must have demonstrated ability to lead a group of data analysts. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical team across all levels of management, both written and verbal.

- Able to lead and provide technical oversight/resolution to team and leads Timely and effective delivery governance working across stakeholder

- Experience in matrix management and ability to work with virtual delivery teams is key Experience in identifying the key metrics for application and platform level and drive improvements. Experience in defining working models and provide framework level solutions for complex problems.

- Knowledge on data warehousing, should have managed projects.

- 13+ years of IT experience, 4+ years in Project management & People Management experience

- Experience in managing DWH projects

- Experience in driving end to end projects independently

- Experience in effective project plans for multiple projects by defining scope, estimating effort and evaluating high level design and architecture.

- Strong people management skills, with a proven ability to manage leads/Senior team members.

- Manage a team size of about 15 FTE's along with few contractors. Managing team involves recruiting right talent, build, mentor and enable to them to perform to their potential.

- Establish good relationship with project stakeholders to strategize development scope for the group.

- Strong background experience in Designing, Development, Support and Deployment of Data related projects

- Participate in Requirement Review meetings & Project Kickoff meetings.

- Review High level Design and low level design documents and provide feedback/suggestion

- Assist the leads in arriving at High Level estimates and detailed estimates.

- Able to review the work products of team members and provide appropriate feedback.

- Able to review architecture for suite of applications and provide suggestions

- Identifies potential risks, prioritizes issues and escalates to the right team in a timely manner.

- Understands and identifies KSFs (Key success factors), KRFs (Key Risk Factors) and manages these with the business partners

- Ability to discuss debate and challenge technical issues with data analysts

- Applies judgment in implementing different methodologies, processes, and practices to specific requirements of projects/programs.

- Establish proper operating metrics and effect continuous improvement.

- Proactive in troubleshooting, listening, and problem solving skills

- Mentor/grow individual SMEs in technology and domain

- Ensures that team adheres to organization policies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Composed, poised and professional demeanor.
