Job Description - Looking for a seasoned Technology professional with 15+ years of experience is Risk Platform Development with exposure to technology frameworks like Angular, Spark, Bootstrap etc. This position can be based out of Mumbai / Hyderabad.

Client Details

Our client is a leading Financial Services firm providing financial market intelligence, credit rating, analytics, risk & advisory services to leading banks. They are currently looking to hire a CTO to lead their technology practice supporting the risk management services function.

The incumbent can be based out of Mumbai / Hyderabad.

Description : 

- This is a senior leadership level role reporting into the CIO of the organization & working closely with the CEO of Risk Management Services.

- Build and Lead a technology COE unit in India that can develop a technology platform to support the Risk Management Services requirements

- The role would involve architecting of the tech platform using latest technology frameworks like Angular, Bootstrap, Spark etc.

- Work with the risk analysts and a team of data scientists to bring in all the necessary frameworks and features required for risk modeling in banks

- Work closely with business teams and product development teams to understand requirements, lead design solutions, participate in task development and levels of effort estimates and oversee staff's tasks and estimates

- Keeping up to date with the latest technology trends especially in the machine learning

- Understands the business side of our corporate applications, as well as our language/operations applications, to support our goal of seamless solutions and integration for our users

- Works closely with senior executives in providing the strategic roadmap to the RMS business and help in creating a world-class utility.

Profile

- Masters in computer science, financial engineering or any advanced degree in quantitative or engineering or science disciplines

- 15+ years of IT experience with complex architectures with a focus on large systems implementation and deployments

- 15+ years of experience in a client facing consulting/professional services roles

- Background in risk management, risk platform deployment experience would be ideal

- Deep understanding of banking domain especially in the risk management area and also understand technology frameworks that support the development and execution of risk models

- Excellent consulting, client relationship and communication skills, written and verbal, including expressing ideas clearly and logically to all levels within the organization

- The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear manner

- Proven ability to build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders /customers across diverse groups

- Demonstrated flexibility and the ability to deal with ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment

- Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple constituencies and manage multiple simultaneous objectives

- A hands-on, participative, leadership style that encourages creative problem solving

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
