Technology & Engineering Head/Chief Technology Officer

Roles and responsibilities :

- P&L Owner who makes all executive decisions related to the technology vision of the company

- Ensuring all technology resources are productive and align to the business vision

- Undertake research and development in cutting edge technologies, drive deep technology initiatives as a part of a start-up - being innovative while bootstrapping

- Mentor team in technology

- Own IT KRAs and KPIs

- Customer focus approach to solve the needs to internal and external stakeholders using technology processes and innovation

- Ensure adherence to IT standards, best practices, security and regulatory needs

- Define the technology architecture and best practices for the company

- Engaging with clients as needed and manage relationships

- Innovate for new client needs and keep the business ahead of the competition, enabling it to have the first mover advantage

- Reporting the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly deliveries and initiatives to the board

- Investor management from a technology standpoint

- IT effectiveness measured by customer satisfaction

- IT innovation

Skills :

- Degree in computer science, MBA preferred

- Min. 8 years of experience in a core technology role with business interfacing roles

- In-depth understanding of online technologies, full stack development, testing in addition to machine learning, big data, MEAN stack and Python/associated skills, cloud and IT infrastructure

- Extensive industry knowledge with deep understanding of technology trends
