job Description:

- The Content Platform Data Engineering group under Product Engineering provides systems development and support for all of the content processing needs for Legal business units with primary focus on US Law Firms. All of the content used in print and electronic products is sourced from systems developed by this group. The group oversees and executes on a wide range of project types, ranging from cost saving infrastructure to revenue driving product development initiatives.

- The key area of focus for this position is serving as a Director - Technology for a multi-year project to deliver new and reengineered systems using AWS and its capabilities with excellent proficiency in Java, Python and experience in design of full stack applications in addition to People Management.

- The ideal candidate will possess strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- They must also possess effective oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills. A history of meeting aggressive deadlines in uncertain environments and maintaining strong customer relationships are key selection criteria

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Develop, manage and prepare best software development team. Guide, coach and mentor a team of software development Managers.

- Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software. Supervise architecture plus lead efforts to develop technical roadmap of all projects. Establish and stimulate software development standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high quality software.

- Perform closely with Engineers, Developers and Product Management throughout organization to influence product development assisting or improving products. Involve in strategic plans to accomplish technical as well as business with leadership chain, team and with customers. Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.

- Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules plus supervise project status. Collaborate effectively with all Global Stakeholder, 3rd Party vendors and business leaders.. Follow up and provide timely reporting on issues to senior management Extensive knowledge on CAPEX, OPEX and Staff Augmentaion Hiring and Retainng talent

REQUIREMENTS:

- Education A four-year degree in computer science or a related field is required. Graduate training in business or technology is a plus, but not required. Knowledge and Skills Technical knowledge should include hands-on design and development of enterprise class applications including design analysis, and implementation and testing along with experience with trouble shooting and maintenance activities.

- Must be able to Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects and tasks concurrently Candidates should possess: At least 17 years of large scale software development or application engineering with working knowledge in languages Java, Python, Angular, and JavaScript Extensive experience in handling large teams with multiple Projects and Product Portfolios. Application of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) techniques and implementation using Design Patterns.

- Past experience in migrating Java/Oracle based applications to the Cloud Working Experience with designing and building applications using AWS capabilities such as EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB Elastic Beanstalk Hands on familiarity with AWS CloudFormation templates, DR and HA strategies Designing and building applications using Containers and Serverless technologies Experience in AWS Step functions and Lambdas. Experience with architecting and developing applications to be cost optimized Strong scripting skills with Python, Ruby etc.

- Strong Database Experience with strong knowledge of writing complex SQL scripts Experience with UI technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS will be a big plus We are looking for a People Manager Learn and display as how products would add value to respective business.

- Ensure top quality design reviews attaining business goals.

- Supervise resource allocation to assure attainment of apt business and personnel development goals. provide deep software development knowledge with respect cloud architecture design patterns and programming

- Prepare lifecycle for different projects inclusive of research, development, design, evaluation, testing along with delivery to product management.

- Develop relations with existing and prospective internal customers to interpret all individual requirements
