TechnoGen - Senior Architect - Software Defined Networking - Telecom Domain

- Responsible for designing and developing system to deliver feature set required enabling Software Defined Networking (SDN) solution.

- Ability to develop plugins, extension modules and applications the controller platform. Responsibilities will include scoping, designing and implementation in Java/J2EE technology

- Deep Technical knowledge in Applications Architecture, developing successful micro-services or SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and integration solution in an enterprise.

- Provided technology leadership on SDN/NFV projects (SDN Controller Applications, Virtual Network Functions, OpenFlow Switch and DataPlane Accelerators)

- Implement architectural design with business use cases, trade-offs, and risk mitigation included, including product assessment skills

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures, Develop and maintain current and planned architectural blueprints

- Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies to the team

- Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations & create technical documentation

- Assist in the development of overall project plans and timetables, analysis and identification of intermediate deliverables and report progress and status

- Experience with system automation and deployment tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) An understanding of modern build tools like Jenkins Experience with AWS and AWS provided tools (Cloud formation, OpsWorks etc.)

- Expert in implementing Agile and DevOps practices

Skill set :

- A bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science or Electrical or Electronic or related areas is a must. Master's degree is preferred.

- Exposure to Telecom domain and ITIL framework is a plus

- Experience working with cloud architectures (Openstack, AWS, GCE) & Proficient in at least one scripting language (Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby)

- Familiar with system integration technologies, such as micro-services, SOAP, REST, and RSS

- Experience with - Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins and cloud platform tools

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum based projects and providing technical leadership is REQUIRED
