Techno Functional Consultant - Oracle - FMCG/Healthcare

Job Title : Techno-Functional Consultant (Oracle) Dept.: IT - India

Reports To : Chief Manager - Projects Status: Full time

Location : Bangalore

Position Purpose :

- The position will be a part of the IT Team and will report to Chief Manager - Projects. In this role he/she will be responsible for the following key activities.

- Support & Enhancement for Oracle Finance Module.

- Participate in implementation for additional rollouts.

- Possessing strong leadership & communication skills, this position will work closely with the leads of various departments to support Oracle and other applications.

- The position will be supported by local teams and service providers and will be responsible for smooth functioning of Oracle applications across various locations of the organization.

Responsibilities :

Support - Oracle Finance Module :

- Gain in-depth understanding of business and existing Oracle application configurations & setup.

- Support R12 Oracle Finance Modules - General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash & Bank Management.

- Analyze the support incidents, providing optimal solution and interaction with users.

- Opening, managing and resolving Oracle SR's with Oracle Support.

- Provide guidance and direction to in-house and outsourced support teams.

- Ensure industry best practices are followed for support to ensure end-user satisfaction.

- Manage KRA's and SLA's of support team.

- Keep key customers informed of the support initiatives and raise satisfaction levels.

- Ensure regular training and knowledge transfer within support team.

Enhancement :

- Identify business needs and suggest suitable applications or enhancements to existing applications.

- Mapping business requirements, gap analysis and prepare functional specifications document.

- Preparation of test scenario & test cases.

- Lead development/evaluation efforts through in-house/outsourced teams.

- Gain user acceptance of solutions. and spear-head implementation and change management.

Implementation :

- Participate in Oracle implementation efforts for new entities and locations.

- Ensure set up of masters and key financial parameters are set properly.

- Preparation of - AS-IS- and - TO-BE- documents.

- Completion of implementation projects in a timely manner to the satisfaction of end users.

Required Profile :

- Should have participated in at least two complete Oracle Implementation projects.

- Should have experience with Oracle India Localization and taxation modules.

- Should have experience in handling Oracle Application support.

- Good knowledge of SQL and use of Oracle tools.

- Minimum two years of functional experience in Finance/Accounting.

Experience & Qualifications :

- MBA (Finance) or CA or ICWA with at least 10-12 years of Experience.
