TechnifyBiz - Head - Supply Chain Management

Logistics-

- Leading a team of 6-10 people including team leads; heading procurement & logistics vertical of the company

- Create a robust supply chain operation which includes warehousing, packaging and logistics on Pan India level

- Plan and handle supply chain as per the demand/procurement volumes and for variety of SKU's

- Logistics Planning & scheduling for/ adjust backend supply chain for smooth operations based on demand plans. Overseeing daily Dispatch planning and execution

- Responsible for timely end-to-end supply chain from various suppliers to warehouses and from warehouse OR directly from supplier to last mile delivery; as the case may be. This includes both inter & intra city supply.

- Be prepared to local contingencies and work out solutions for on-demand/ non-continuous supply chain considering Holiday and festivals

- Oversee the management of dedicated fleet of vehicles for daily supply chain

- Remain on top of things to avoid logistical delays and ensure planned supplies reaching last mile on or before defined date. Ensuring seamless unloading process to avoid vehicle retention costs

- Prepare budgets for Logistics and ensure adherence to budgets

- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities to reduce costs and execute them

- Tracking of Orders of RM & P, In Stock, In Transit, Pending order and status updates

- Tracking performance of logistic partners and ensuring better on time performance

- Ideate and implement innovative ways of increasing efficiency in logistics

RPC Management-

- Inventory planning & Management, ensuring Stock availability, Pending Contract and forecasting.

- Ensuring availability of all SKUs including RM and Packaging/Branding Materials as per forecast at the same time maintaining lowest inventory and Inventory freshness

- Waste/Ageing/Rejection Handling at RPCs and/or otherwise at SKU level and ensure liquidation as per defined SOPs

- Plan and Execute stock audits by way of physical verifications

- Maintaining RPC Hygiene and ensure Quality/Process training of RPC employees for smoother operation

- Ensuring necessary compliances, SLA- s, Invoices, payments, Insurances & reconciliation.

- Ensuring all legal and statutory compliances for RPCs in line with FSSAI, State and Local body requirements

Procurement

- Procurement of RMs and End-to-End Order processing

- Procurement & Fulfillment of Packaging & Branding Materials

- Managing Supplier/SKU Addition, Onboarding, Rate Negotiation, Closure & Vendor relations

- Procurement Planning and Just in time sourcing in case of last minute vendor delays or cancellations

Quality- Bhushan & team

- Defining quality specs for each commodity's different qualities and keeping adherence to these qualities at

Vendor, customer, RPC and company level

- Quality check before dispatch of each order and ensuring training & reporting of all such quality personnel

- Handling in case of quality rejections at customer end and checking for quality and appropriately diverting the goods back to vendor or RPC for liquidation/ further use by procurement team for future orders

- Working in close coordination with finance team in defining payment terms for different vendors as per agreement and also order wise so as to drive overall profitability for the company

Other Functions- PP (make shift SCM head- whosoever is program manager)

- Owning Supply Chain key MIS Reports & Business Metrics. Management Reporting.

- Prepare SOP's and training of SCM team to ensure desired outcomes for all supply chain functions

- Take escalations from other departments for supply chain issues on a day to day basis

- Inter-department coordination for vendor identification, finalization, procurement, billing and payments

Skills Required:

Must have;

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Graduate/ PG MBA (Preferably in Supply Chain) with 5 - 6 Years of experience

- Have worked at Pan India level

- Have worked with multiple vendors in logistics & procurement

- Resourceful and can lead a team of 10+ direct/indirect reportees

- Hands on MS Excel, Powerpoint

- Be willing to travel PAN India

Good to have;

- Experience in food industry and procurement of RM will be an added advantage

- Understands food safety standards- FSSAI, HACCP

- Have handled end-to-end supply chain operations for more than 100 tonnes of on a daily basis

- Speaking multiple languages a plus
