Technical Project Manager - Media

Job Summary -

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee our software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in managing software development projects, and excellent communication and leadership skills. This position will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks.

Responsibilities -

- Manage the entire project life cycle from initiation to deployment

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders

- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets

- Monitor and control project risks, issues, and dependencies

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management

- Facilitate project team meetings and coordinate project team activities

- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including Agile methodologies and project management standards

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, including developers, designers, and QA testers

- Manage project resources, including budgets, staffing, and vendor relationships

- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance project management processes and tools.

Qualifications -

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably in software development

- Strong technical background with experience in software development and related technologies

- Proven experience in managing multiple software development projects from conception to deployment

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make data-driven decisions

- Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana PMP or other project management certifications are a plus
