Technical Program Manager - eCommerce

What are we looking for?

- Take ownership project execution, end-to-end

- Drive project completion in unstructured scenarios involving complex people/ process problems

- Note: our org probably doesn- t just need passive agile coaches. We need people who can own project management till the finish line.

- Hands-on experience with multiple teams/projects simultaneously OR complex projects (10+ devs)

- Familiar with Agile methodology/terminology

- We want to adopt agile best practices - so quality hands-on + theoretical knowledge of agile is a plus

- A bigger plus is - ability to adopt standard agile knowledge to organizational priorities.

Technical background

- Enough to understand overview of tech stack, project scope & technical user stories

- Big plus - hands-on technical experience/ architectural understanding, has worked as a QA or a developer (could be leveraged for infra and devops team)

- Ideal experience range: 4-8 years

Strong communication skills:

- Should be able to articulate clearly verbally and in writing

- Should be able to make a persuasive case based on his own logical deduction, while being open to course-correction based on rationale feedback

Responsibilities :

- Serves as scrum master for 2-4 development teams, comprised of engineers, product managers, and designers, to ensure predictable delivery of high-quality product features.

- Create and maintain team road maps and backlogs with product managers.

- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, kick-offs, retrospectives and other standard processes & ceremonies.

- Identify risks, visualize upstream & downstream dependencies and help unblock challenges.

- Provide project status and estimates to all stakeholders.

- Help the team with the story creation, estimation and planning processes.

- Administrate appropriate project management tools.

Desired Qualifications & Skill set :

- 4+ years of project management experience in a software product organisation.

- Hands-on experience of agile development.

- Track record of successfully executing complex, high-impact projects working directly with engineering teams.
