Technical Product Manager
Our client is a fast growing Supply Chain Tech company based in Mumbai.
Job Description :
Drive product strategy, vision, and product roadmap
- Understand the company's vision and ensure alignment between sales and technology teams in terms of product development
- Understand customer requirement, and translate customer needs into functional and technical specifications for the product
- Suggest improvements in the product in terms of features, processes, UI/UX etc.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking, incorporate best practices
Execute Product Development roadmap and plan
- Conceptualize and build wireframes, mockups, and workflows for new product development and additions to existing products
- Build functional and technical specification documents
- Build product release/sprint plans and coordinate with the technology team to ensure timely delivery of new features and sprints
- Oversee UAT to ensure smooth product releases
- Ensure adherence to global standards and best practices
- Coordinate with the client to ensure seamless integrations with IT systems
Technology management
- Data architecture and management
- Oversee and provide input on system design, implementation and maintenance - Oversee assigned program (e.g. code review) and guide team members
- Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
- Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
Solution Design and Delivery
- Assist in developing a solution architecture based on the client's functional requirements
- Lead proposal development, engineering visits for solution design and provide input on technical problem resolutions
- Supervise project design, installation, configuration, trouble shoot and validate performance against project deliverables
- Ensure and verify proper software operation and operational setup of the solution as per configuration documents.
- Provide training to customers on the system and integration
- Prepare standard operating procedure (SOP) of the system
Project and Stakeholder Management
- Develop project execution plan, accurately forecast timelines, and assess and manage project risks
- Deliver projects on time, within budget with excellent customer satisfaction
- Manage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project deliverables
You should apply if :
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Product Head/Manager
- Track record of managing a product from inception to launch
- Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
- Understanding of strategic IT solutions
- Knowledge of selected coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java)
- Familiarity with various databases (e.g. MySQL) and cloud computing
- You want to work for a growth phase B2B Tech startup
- You are a technology enthusiast and believe technology can solve real-world problems
- You have demonstrated active listening skills, are highly consultative and solutions- oriented
- You have prior experience in building or improving technology products especially in Supply Chain
- You have a Bachelor/master's degree in computer sciences or equivalent.
