Technical Product Manager - IT Product Firm

Intro to the Profile

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager who owns product from a business process perspective, has proven ability to understand in-depth nuances of business processes and customer behavior and can create technology product based solutions. 

We are looking for individuals, who have the ability to quickly grasp the ideas/ concepts/ essence of discussions, engage with different stakeholders to drive results, express their ideas/ thoughts/ solutions clearly in their written/oral communication, and be a solid, reliable team player. 

Your goal would be to help the company deliver top notch releases in the process of integrating as a key member of our thriving, passionate global teams and happy customers ecosystem. Person should be able to drive delivery of product for all stages of requirements to launch and support. This will involve working closely with clients, external partners and all internal teams engaged in product development lifecycle and support.

The ideal candidate shall have a strong program/product management background, have over 8 years of experience leading medium to large projects, and have a well-rounded technical background in current web technologies, web services and solid exposure to project management tools.

The candidate shall also possess rock-solid background in data analysis and insight, and converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information. 

The candidate should also have a business background that enables them to support a process of researching, analyzing, and reporting on business development activity. 

The person should be able to think ahead, drive change to execute new ideas, explore and execute on business process simplification using technology.

Responsibilities:

- Takes responsibility as the Product Owner/ Champion of the assigned product/ module and is the go-to person for any solutions/ requirements in assigned area. Serve as a product expert and champion user centered design, to help ensure that our solutions are based on best practices. 

- Works directly with both the US based business team, including account management, business product managers etc. as well as India based operational teams on assigned solution(s) in various stages from definition of parent-level user stories through launch of product or feature. 

 - Establishes and maintains relevant connection to the market through interactions with users, business stakeholders, management and collaboration with market-facing Product Managers, the technology and content development teams, quality assurance, and the design and usability team, to ensure the solution(s) delivered to market meet the requirements and expectations established by the business. 

- Serve as project manager/ product owner for Delivery Team, including ownership of the backlog, providing input at iteration planning, and the ability to promptly produce user stories and supporting artifacts in fast paced, rapid delivery, multi-project environment. 

- Uses agile methodologies, to define requirements, prioritize features, provide business guidance, and perform acceptance testing, for newly-developed software products as well as enhancements to existing products. This includes, but is not limited to 

- Engaging with global stakeholders regularly to understand/ gather prioritized requirements, convert them into business requirements and work in a continuous process of refinement through feedback from all stakeholders. 

-  Translating business write ups into technical functional specifications and proposed solutions that document ideas clearly and concisely using wireframes and other such technical tools to ensure a clean hand-off to the development/ QA teams. 

 - Manage the entire life cycle of the initiatives you- re responsible for including showing operations success and developing on further iterations and delivering the final release to stakeholders. 

 - Throughout the period of the sprint, ensure frequent communication on sprint status to stakeholders, and at the end of the sprint ensure putting together release notes and demo the final product to customers. 

 - In addition to the sprint planning and delivery, other areas of contributions include: 

- Develop requirements for internal tools and processes to support product/feature launches. 

- Dive deep to understand areas of optimization across operations and functional teams; translate findings into business requirements

 - Translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for operational, program or product improvements. 

- Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

- Should have scored 70% & above in 10th and 12th grade. 

- A Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related software engineering discipline, or equivalent. Post Graduation MBA will be an added advantage. 

- Strong product management, business process analysis, and software development experience. Experience of full cycle implementation is preferred. 

- Strong organizational and management skills, including ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives 

- Basic understanding of lean/agile development methodologies

 - Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills and decision making capabilities 

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

- Ability to work constructively with developers, QA, Project managers and Management towards a common goal 

- High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer and our company succeed 

- Any experience with payments 

- Credit Card processing, ACH, Check, wire is highly preferred
