Do you want to get a birds eye view of the ecommerce business ? Do you want to work on latest hot tech like Big Data, Hadoop, Data Lake, Complex event processing, Streaming analytics, NOSQL etc.? Do you know we collect petabytes of data each day at us? Does building a highly scalable platform that can process petabytes of data and zero in on the key numbers excite you? Imagine building the intelligence that feeds into search, discovery, merchandising, recommendations and other key pieces of the ecommerce platform that power us.

In this Technical Product Manager role on the Data team, you'll be at the cutting edge of data efforts. You'll talk to top leaders across the company to identify business critical problems that can be solved using data.

- You'll then drive prioritization of work across product, engineering and business teams. you'll drive integration of data into reports and visualization tools.

- All of this will enable business impact through reports - GMV/ revenue growth, reduction of cost etc.

- You will also get first-hand experience handling big data at scale.

A successful Technical Product Manager in this domain should have the following skills:

- Passionate about data, analytics and building large scale platforms. Passion for digging deep into customer problems and understanding them thoroughly. 

- Tech background with a good understanding of data, metrics and building models

- Product grasp - capable of taking business metrics, breaking them into investment areas, and leading thought in these areas. 

- Understanding of product lifecycle and ability to drive execution 

- Evangelize and partner with other teams.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other teams.

- BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred. 

- MBA is a big plus. Strong program management skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders at various levels.
