Technical Lead - Robotic Process Automation - SDLC

Role Purpose :

As RPA Technical Lead, you will manage the RPA DevOps team to implement RPA and other intelligent automations across business functions and use it to reduce cycle time and errors in their critical business processes.

Accountabilities :

- Architecting enterprise level automations involving multiple systems, sub- systems and ERPs.

- Manage the RPA DevOps team, managing the complete lifecycle of design, build and run for RPA bots for all functions.

- Act as an - IT liaison to work with the respective functions to coordinate automation development so IT is in synch with functional needs and to help resolve IT issues that may arise.

- Creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems

- Design and create the bot frameworks using queues, interfacing RPA and chatbots, API enabling and instrumenting the bots and ability to extend the implementations using code as needed.

- Configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand using Robotics technologies.

- Project Management - Lead the execution of automation on multiple projects ranging from assessment to implementation. Drive Governance rigor across functional/regional teams on automation projects deployment progress.

- Share feedback on existing delivery methodologies on RPA/automations with the leaders and refine/ streamline approach as we go along.

- To bring industry knowledge, latest innovations and emerging PoVs on Robotics process automation and Intelligent Automation.

- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with counterparts in other functional organizations to ensure alignment with broader technology and business plans.

- Develop and document RPA configuration best practices, configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.

- Work with business and process teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility.

- Ensure quality of coded components by performing end to end unit testing.

- Analyze and question existing processes/status quo to ensure a full and correct understanding is gained including business & system exceptions.

- Understand specification/ design document and accordingly create process automation codes through scripting and RPA tools.

- Assess automation opportunity from technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution. Define the technical framework based on below considerations:

- Method of access (internal client network, internet, local access)

- User Authentication (SSO, central LDAP, individual log in)

- IT Security and/or Audit Policies which impact the robot deployment

- User Authorization Processes, its lead times & request process

- Application landscape

- Applications requiring fat client, any client installation to access, or require individual logins to access

- Technical impacts of applications accessed behind Citrix

- Hosting & Environments

- Recognize and report issues before they adversely impact the project schedule.

- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile issues or complete critical path projects.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

- 10+ years of professional working experience in product/ services industry preferably with strong RPA transformation experience.

- Experience in Design & Implementation of Robotics Process Automation.

- Hands-on development experience in any of the programming languages/platforms - .NET / VB / VC++ / C++ / J2EE

- Experience with Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, Ajax, Jquery, XML will be added advantage

- Should have knowledge or working experience with a database like SQL Server, My SQL

- Should have a complete experience in SDLC process.

- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, business partners, managers, and subject matter experts.

Candidate Profile:
