Technical Lead - Analytics Firm

Our client is a leader in Paid Search & Social Advertising, provides a sophisticated technology solution to efficiently manage Digital Marketing campaigns for several brands in India. The technology developed takes a beating of serving and tracking 20M+ impressions a day. It runs crunching algorithms and keyword discovery routines using distributed computing, housing the entire data in distributed caches and shared MySQL databases.

To be a geek at our client you need to know how to build scalable and high-performance systems. They start with a proof of concept that demands a traffic rate of 10M+! To achieve any of this you need to understand Distributed Systems, Distributed Caching, High-scale Databases. And they possess the skills to create software that makes this entire heterogeneous system function together even if it runs on 100 boxes. A system that is so widely used cannot sustain any downtime and hence it uses elegant high-availability techniques to survive an outage.

Our client is expanding 360- in terms of business and people. To supplement this aggressive growth plan, They are enhancing the Technical team and are looking for a skilled Tech Lead who is truly passionate about changing technologies and solving challenging business problems across the stack.

you will:

- Lead a team on a project in developing scalable and fault-tolerant systems.

- Be responsible for the timely implementation of features and quality.

- Collaborate with your Project Managers to assess and the review technical impact of new tasks or existing challenges.

- Understand the goals and strategy behind each project from conception through completion.

- Communicate effectively with project managers, technical leads, internet strategists, and other internal team members.

- Prepare project management plan.

- Work closely with team members to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery.

- Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with team members to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.

- Participate in reviews and meetings and provide updates on project progress.

- Train and monitor the progress of new joiners focusing on technical and personal growth.

You'd fit right in if you have:

- Passion for coding, innovative designing, and business savviness.

- 8+ years of experience solving highly complex problems related to implementation and analysis of enterprise-class based solutions.

- A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (based on a B.E./ BTech or M.S./ M.Tech in Computer Science).

- Handled small and medium-sized tech teams in the past.

- Hands on development experience and cannot only orchestrate a project but also can step into developer shoes if needed.

- Solid understanding of Java technologies.

- Exposure developing and handling scaled systems.

- Experience with distributed systems.

- An ability to churn highly optimized algorithms.

- Good communication and solution analysis capabilities.

- Knowledge and working experience of Agile software development processes and SCRUM methodologies.

- Strong coordination skills with the ability to multi-task and address multiple priorities.

- Demonstrated initiative in starting and completing multiple projects.
