About the role : 

We are looking for a Tech Implementation Services Lead who has the aspirations and appetite in working in a start-up environment. The nature of our projects requires tech implementation of Data Analytics, BI, AI and ML solutions for complex and data-intensive business problems for clients. The nature of engagements involve identifying and analysing data through data analytics techniques and doing statistical analysis, and building high quality digital interaction dashboards and tools.

Our project delivery requires blending a team with broad range of skills, including consulting, data science and technology. The projects involve delivering a business case to the customer's senior management.

Responsibilities: 

- Lead the tech implementation services team

- Provide oversight to all delivery projects; be involved closely in large / complex projects

- Maintain high level of client satisfaction

- Take responsibility for implementation proposals from a delivery perspective - scoping, budgeting, Manpower planning, recruitment, induction deployment, training and performance management of personnel from diverse skills in technology and analytics, such as

- Java

- R and Python

- Power BI

- Big Data or Data Engineering

- Manage relationships with third parties for contract and specialist resources

- Manage overall delivery cost for the operations

Expected and Desired Skills :

- Client (middle - senior) management skills

- Implementation Methodology

- Understanding of Implementation Services Metrics

- Management of delivery cost

- Project management

- Full cycle project execution (including client acceptance)

- Interpersonal skills

Experience : 

- Overall 10-15 years relevant experience

- Hands on project management experience of full delivery lifecycle (MUST) from starting up the project to closure, project governance, client satisfaction, billing and collections, resource management, and managing budgets and margins.

- Client facing interactions with CIO/ Head of Architect/ Head of Delivery - MUST

- Strong knowledge of MS Technologies - MUST

- Agile Implementation - MUST

- Strong Communication Skills - MUST

- Experience of managing mid-sized (team of 20) or larger consulting led IT projects

- Experience of sales cycle of IT projects - conceptualising projects, planning and budgeting; experience of proposal writing

- Experience of managing teams of diverse skills - consulting, technology and data science (preferably). Experience of managing mixed teams of service provider, client and third party

- Experience of working with middle - senior management client personnel

- Preferred industry exposure - Financial Services, CPG, Manufacturing

- Preferred if candidate has managed or developed a services delivery unit

- Exposure to analytics tools and landscape

Education Background: 

- A Bachelors degree, or equivalent, preferably in Software Engineering and Computer Science

- A Master's degree, or MBA is preferred

Desired Candidate: 

- The ideal candidate would have excellent skills in conceptualising and planning / budgeting projects. The candidate should have delivered medium - large sized engagements successfully. He should have strong knowledge of project methodologies and deliverables. He should have strong understanding of governance of projects as well as managing quality of the delivery.

- In this role, the candidate will lead the tech implementation services team of the client. The candidate will need to ensure that standard methods of project implementation are established. The candidate will need to understand the technical and other skills required for successful implementation of the clients solutions, and work closely with HR in establishing the team. The role will involve managing the operating parameters like utilisation, pyramid etc of the team.

- The candidate will be personally involved in conceptualising and subsequently providing oversight to the large and complex projects of the company.
