Technical Head

Job Purpose:

- Plan, and control the unit's technical operations in order to ensure organization meet marketing demands at optimum cost with the highest quality standards and statutory compliances

Description:

OPTIMISING PRODUCTION:

- Ensure production is realized as per annual target, identify and direct removal of de-bottleneck areas in order to achieve more than the rated output

OPTIMISING COST:

- Ensure optimizing cost and consumption by planning and monitoring areas like raw material fuel, power consumption with maximum output and quantity

FULFILLMENT OF QUALITY / PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT:

- Ensure satisfactory product quality with specified parameters like fineness, and strength on-time delivery, investigate customer complaints, and implement corrective actions wherever necessary. Also, ensure proper raw material, mix coal and brand image, product cost restructuring, and reduced delivery time to market

AVAILABILITY OF PLANT MAINTENANCE:

- Directing and guiding all concerned departments to monitor the optimum plant availability and utilization of optimum plant availability by facilitating all necessary resources for predictive and preventive breakdown maintenance work

STATUTORY COMPLIANCE / SAFETY:

- Establish procedures and systems to ensure compliance with all statutory obligations, Viz. Electrical, Boiler, Factory safety, Environment, etc.

PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT:

- Develop and sustain an enabling work climate and motivates the workforce, ensuring knowledge upgradation, and employee growth with best in World Class Manufacturing and Organizational practices
