Technical Head - New Product Development - Fragrances (13-30 yrs)

- Experience in the Fragrance industry and fine chemicals.

- Trained in a well-recognized school of fragrance creation.

- Has spent at least 10 years in fragrance creation activity.

- Has also work experience in the areas of analysis, blending, technical de briefing. Has led a team of junior perfumer/evaluator/blender.

- Has interacted with marketing teams and technical teams (in-house and customer) for problem understanding and creation.

The role of Lead Perfumer would be:

1. Lead the Fragrance Creation team in designing Fragrances

2. Build the Fragrance Platform

3. Develop a framework and the tools for building fragrance expertise for the team

4. Debrief business teams on Fragrance briefs on the design direction, performance parameters, time to complete projects and costs.

5. Provide critical inputs to Fragrance briefs

6. Maintain quality tests, reference standards, Specification, Olfactory a library of Fragrance ingredients, records, and database

7. Create a fragrance bank for the long term needs by working with consumers, fragrance experts, and the marketing teams through consumer insights generated through interaction with relevant stakeholders

8. Ensure smooth translation of created fragrances into products (PD process)

9. Support Manufacturing plan, quality, and troubleshooting& providing training to Junior perfumers

10. Operationalize platform for creation

Ph.D in Chemistry or Perfumery / M.Sc.in Chemistry or Perfumery /Minimum experience 12 yrs in Perfumery or Fragrance industry / Fine chemicals.New product development, blending, technical debriefing. We have junior perfumer/ fragrance evaluator vacancies also.
