Looking For A Technology Leader For A Multinational Product Company

For one of our prestigious multinational clients, we are looking for a Technology Leader [Software Product Technical Director/VP level] with extensive experience in Software Product Companies. An ideal candidate will have 20-25 yrs experience but 18+ yrs is a must have. You must be a B-Tech from IITs/NITs/BITS Pilani OR a University/Institute of equal repute ONLY. An MBA from Tier-1 institutes will be an advantage. The position is based at Delhi but involves infrequent short travels to Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad, and overseas locations (US/Singapore/Europe).

To be successful, you must be a techie at heart and must have a proven track record of managing international stakeholders in addition to product delivery teams in an agile environment. Responsibilities include all aspects of product delivery, divisional P&L, and international stakeholders management.

Role Description

- As Director/VP Technology (Software Product Development), you will manage product delivery teams end-to-end

- You will coordinate with all the stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of products without compromising the quality.

- You will also be responsible for encouraging continuous improvement in Software Engineering capability and maturity on an ongoing basis.

- You will own the responsibility for P&L of the division assigned to

- Do you have a B-Tech/MS Degree in Engineering from reputed institutes (IITs/NITs or Institutes of equivalent repute)- (An MBA is desirable though not a must)

- Do you have 20-25 yrs experience in a Product Company including at least 10 years in management, in addition to the development experience

- Do you have proven track record of effectively managing engineering teams

- Do you have experience in making strategic decisions for your organization

- Do you have experience in an onsite/offshore environment, and addressing its challenges

- Do you have experience in leading large development teams in technologies such as Java/C++/.Net etc.

- Do you have hands-on expertise in Agile / Scrum Methodologies?

- Do you have excellent oral and written communications skills.

- Do you have experience working with international stakeholders?

- Are you based at Delhi or NCR or willing to relocate-
