Technical Director - IT

Qualification:

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of Training & Experience with 15+ years of related work experience.

- Strong data structure and algorithm fundamentals.

- Strong Problem solving skills.

- Strong communication skills (Written and verbal).

- Expert in C++, Visual C++, ATL & COM

- Strong Experience with Win32 API in a C++ environment (just .NET and Win32 will not be sufficient)

- Experience in Python and scripting languages such as Javascript and Jscript.

- Excellent troubleshooting skill to root cause complex issues

- Should have the experience in analyzing crash dump

- Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews

- Should have experience of usage of tools such as Coverity, Bulls eye.

- Generates engineering test plans from functional specification documents.

Responsibilities

Equivalent to a Director in the management track, Technical Directors have demonstrated consistent technical achievement and innovation.

- They have a deep understanding of their technology area and a broad understanding of the company's range of technologies.

- Provide Technical direction and advice to management in long-range planning for new or projected areas of software research.-

- As technical visionaries, they create and implement state of the art ideas, mentor and help upgrade technical proficiency of the team, and consistently deliver creative designs.

- They are responsible for system-level design specifications and technology plans.

- They also serve as a leader in the review of designs developed by other team members.-

- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of highly complex components in a given product.

- Anticipates future technical needs then develops long-range engineering or product specific strategies to reach technical goals.
