- Manages a team of between 30-40 engineers.
- Develops the definition of project scope, schedule, goals, and deliverable as per the need.
- Mentors project team members on best practices, including delivery and IT framework. Directs and assigns work activities and priorities
- Manages the scope change process: identifies and anticipates risks and issues, facilitates resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation
- Participates in all phases of the development life cycle including requirement understanding, analysis, design, implementation, and testing
- Be a hands-on technical manager who will need to define the technical requirement, design, and estimation
- Manages deliverables, quality.
- Ensures that resources are appropriately allocated and goals, objectives, and timelines are met in accordance with an organizational road map
- Communicates project status and escalates issues to direct managers and internal and external stakeholders.
Skills:
- 10-15 years of relevant experience including software design, development, and project management.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language and hands-on experience with at least Unity, C#, or C++ tech stack.
- Experience in leading multiple development projects with a team of developers & test engineers
- Project management skills including time and risk management, resource prioritization, and project structuring
- Practical knowledge and exposure of development using Agile methodology
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style
- Strong managerial skills, including coaching, team-building, and conflict resolution
- Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills
