Job Description

- Work with Delivery Managers, System/Business Analysts and other subject matter experts to understand the requirements and then Design solutions

- Develop and demonstrate thorough understanding of Eagle data model, Eagle architecture, various functionality provided by Eagle on STAR, PACE and Portal while designing the solutions.

- Assist in effort estimation for new projects/proposals.

- Produce/Review Technical specifications, unit test cases for the interfaces under development

- Develop and implement standards, procedures and best practices for data maintenance, reconciliation and exception management.

- Demonstrate technical leadership

- Contribute and be accountable for developing eagle competency within the organisation

Job Requirements

- Technical

- Should have handled projects on banking/finance/insurance domain

- Overall 9-12 years of experience in technical leadership in data warehousing and Business Intelligence areas

- Strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Stored Procedure experience

- Experience of Source Control Tools (Clear Case preferred)

- A very good understanding of Data Warehouse, Datamart and ODS concepts

- Experience in UNIX and PERL scripting

- Understanding of standard ETL tools such as Informatica Power Centre

- Experience of using job scheduling tools (Control-M preferred)

- Experience in EAGLE PACE and Eagle STAR applications is favourable

- Knowledge of data normalisation and Oracle performance optimisation techniques
