We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join our Ecommerce team.

- Ensure that the solutions we delivers are properly architected, developed, tested and delivered.

- Build the IT strategy and roadmap of for the ecommerce solution in collaboration with Director of Technology

- Be responsible for team composition, sizing and performance.

- Challenge a diverse group of energetic team members to get the best out of them.

- Strategize with sales prospects and existing clients on innovative technology solutions to mission-critical business needs. Articulate the solutions and quantify cost and timeline estimates, in collaboration with other team members

- Drive and/or support business development including preparing technical responses with estimated project scope, costs, duration and resource requirements in written proposals.

- Work closely with architects and engineering teams to define the overall IT strategy

- Close collaboration with business stake holders to align the technical capabilities of the team with the business roadmap

- Help the team in making technology decisions

- Optimize the application landscape by reducing complexity, solving technical debt, increasing reliability and minimizing informational and operational risks.

- Extend and maintain knowledge on domain as well as on technology

- Update our DevOps and related infrastructure & processes to improve systems, tools, automation, and methodologies.

- Lead the continuous implementation of new industry standards and development methodologies including Agile & Kanban to increase responsiveness and growth.

- Drive diversification of our team's skills across different technologies, platforms, and business models.

- Recommend best practices based on past experience, research, frameworks, design patterns, and visionary thinking.

- Stay on top of technology trends and developments

What you'll bring :

- Experience with managing multiple teams in a matrix organization

- Experience with agile workflows and methodologies

- Experience architecting Microservices based architecture solutions

- Exposure to headless architectures like Single Page Applications (SPA) and Progressive Web Applications (PWA).

- Experience with eCommerce, marketplaces, cloud solutions, Continuous Integration, DevOps, middleware, mobile, and content management required

- Experience with enterprise eCommerce platforms like HCL Commerce, Oracle Commerce ATG & Endeca, Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions, Magento SAP Hybris, SAP Commerce Cloud, Shopify Plus

- Experience with Amazon AWS or other cloud providers

- Knowledge of technologies like GraphQL, Kafka, Couchbase, MSSQL and OData is a plus

- Knowledge of retail and supply chain processes with SAP
