Technical Architect - Distributed Internet Systems

What do we expect from you?

- Define architecture blueprints for one or more components. Complete ownership of design, tech stack, and non-functional attributes.

- Be hands on and implement one or more components.

- Provide technical leadership, be a catalyst to the development team, and provide functional, architecture, design and code reviews in related areas of expertise - Work closely with other architects to ensure architectural consistency and technical excellence.

- Evaluate platforms, frameworks, tools and techniques

- Drive innovation and scope technical solutions and that are highly complex, scaleable, resilient, secure, and extensible systems with at least 99.99% uptime

- Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products.

- Provide functional, architecture, design, and code reviews in related areas of expertise with-in team and cross-team.

Skillset:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.

- 8-12 years of strong design/development experience in building massively large scale distributed internet systems and products

- Good experience in working with any of the programming languages like PHP, Python, Rust, Golang, Elixir, Java

- Excellent computer fundamentals and problem solving skills

- Excellent data structures & algorithms skills

- Experience and knowledge of open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies.

- Must be a proven performer with experience in event driven architectures and microservices

- Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment

- Provide good attention to details

- Must be excited by challenges surrounding the development of massively scalable & distributed system

- Ability to inspire other engineers to do the unimagined and go beyond their comfort lines.
