Tech Mantra Minds - Engineering Leader (17-22 yrs)
I am hiring for a World Class Digital Business Enablement company which taps into organizations- technology, people, and other assets to fuel fast, meaningful Business Transformation. With practitioners of end-to-end business and technology transformation, the company has delivered measurable results for global enterprise customers across Financial Services, Payments, Retail, Automotive, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and other Industries. They are growing at a very rapid pace and looking for leaders who can drive this business.
Responsibilities / Desired Candidate Profile :
- The ideal candidate should have an overall 17 to 19 years experience in building enterprise scale systems. Experience includes at least 5 years in full lifecycle product engineering services (Fintech Experience preferred.
- The Engineering Leader will not be directly responsible for Revenue Targets but will shoulder the responsibility to setup and execute Projects. Though they are not looking for a pure Delivery Manager, the Leader must be hands-on to the extent of guiding and helping the team in resolving technical issues and designing solutions. T
They will have to manage a team and ensure key program delivery across multiple geographically disbursed team.
a. Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.
b. Work very closely with various business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies.
c. Works closely with multiple stakeholders globally and locally, Customer's business, Engineering, Architecture and Operations Teams
d. Drive high standards on quality, delivering solutions on time and within budgeted cost.
e. Deliver excellence in customer experience and value
f. Build and sustain product engineering team(s). Hire and develop top talent. Continuously improve team efficiency and productivity.
g. Setup and drive open, transparent culture within the team
h. Adapt, champion and institute tool-based engineering governance. Setup processes and standards for engineering rigor adherence across projects
i. Work with cross location teams to build functional and high-performance products in agile scrum
j. Be responsible for guiding and leading product discovery, backlog grooming, execution, monitoring, and assigned features/ project(s) to keep on schedule and on budget.
k. Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality against defined threshold, managing issue resolution process, and taking corrective action as necessary
l. Contribute towards growth of the existing account, support bootstrapping of new accounts.
m. Contribute towards creation of IP and digital assets
Functional Competency :
a) IT Software Development, Digital Solutions, Digital Transformation background are mandatory.
b) Sound understanding of technology & of software development methodologies especially as relating to developing custom products for customers
c) This is a senior position in the organization and requires strong execution, communication, and analytical abilities
d) Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
Technical Competency :
a) Candidate in recent times should have been hands-on in full-stack enterprise technologies on user interface, middleware frameworks and database management. They also should have a deep understanding of multiple technology stacks/languages/tools and their pros/cons.
b) Sound understanding of digital technologies in the areas of cloud, cognitive and dev ops.
c) Owns and is accountable for the design and development of a product or major product sub-system
d) Analyze project risks, issues, costs, and benefits and make relevant recommendations to Business and IT leadership. Provide and implement action plans to mitigate risk when applicable
e) Strong interpersonal skills
f) Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals.
g) Working knowledge of systems infrastructure
