Team Manager - Consulting Projects - Telecom/Media/Technology Sector - Management Consulting Firm

- One of the leading global management consulting firms is looking to bring on board subject matter experts within the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecommunications)/ ICT domain. The person will be closely working working with the consulting team and leverage their research/ consulting/ advisory skills for various engagements.

- Here one should have experience in managing and delivering TMT consulting projects.

- Strong analytics/ research skills. An understanding of data analytics and visualization tools ( e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Python, R, SAS) is good but not mandatory.

- The role of this position is to own multiple case teams, focused on the Telecom, Media & Technology(TMT) industry. The TMT practice serves leading companies across domains such as Wireline and Wireless Telecommunication, Cable and Satellite, Media, Software, Technology and Semiconductors. 

- The teams are primarily focused on collaborating with practice/front end case teams on the development and deployment of industry specific analytical products to answer strategic questions of TMT clients. A Team Manager (TM) is responsible for owning and maintaining strong client relationships through high quality delivery of projects and communication, while providing day to day coaching and mentoring to project leaders and associates. 

- The role would require a team manager to lead multiple project work streams. The team manager provides significant direction and support on work-planning, problem solving, hypothesis generation and research toolkit.

HERE:

As a Team Manager, one would:

- Provide direct, day-to-day management to a group of 8-10 people

- Ability to Lead a group of Project Leaders, Associates and Analysts to execute multiple cases simultaneously, with minimal direction

- Ensures timely, high quality delivery to clients through effective team management; creating hypothesis; define deliverables; draw structure and plan; prioritize and set deadlines; review work, provide feedback and ensure quality control

- Identifies and proactively engages on critical issues on projects and with clients; Proactively resolve problems, remove roadblocks, escalate issues as needed

- Is proficient at identifying and using the relevant analytical tools and ensure zero-defect in all work streams and ensures quality work delivery

- Proactively identifies ways to improve team and office efficiency by leveraging tools and technologies
