Job Designation : Team Leader Urban Planning

Job Location : Mangalore City

Qualifications : BArch and Masters in Urban Planning /Urban Design with MBA is desirable

Experience :

- 20 Years experience in Urban Sector

- Experience of Project Management in Urban Infrastructure Works. Experience as Team leader/ Deputy Team leader for minimum one project

Job Description :

- Master degree in Urban Planning or Regional Planning or Architecture Management with minimum 8 years of experience in a managerial position.

- Experience in working with large scale urban development/affordable housing/slum development projects /programmes.

- Experience in implementing urban reforms 20 Years experience in Urban Sector

- Experience of Project Management in Urban Infrastructure Works. Experience as Team leader/ Deputy Team leader for minimum one project.

- Understanding client requirements and interfacing between client and departments within organization.

- Preparation of project budget and managing the project without cost overrun.

- Oversee the planning, monitoring, controlling & evaluation of the whole project.

- Understanding project details, preparing project schedule, updating the schedule as it evolves.

- Oversee the planning, implementation, QC and status reporting of the project.

- Analyze QC manual and ensure quality of work.

- Resource allocation

- Communicate with the client, client billing and follow up with contractors and other agencies involved in the project.

- Prepare interim and final reports and submit to client/management.

- Handing over the project and obtaining completion certificate.

- Ensure that project is completed in stipulated time

Technical Skill Set Required :

- Good in Engineering Design.

- Excellent in estimations, material.

- Knowledge of urban development issues and Project experience

- Good in costing, cost analysis and rate analysis.

- Computing & Design skills

- Good oral & written communication

Functional Skills Set Required :

- Familiar with CPM scheduling software applications like Primavera, MS Projects, etc. is a must
