Team Leader - Indirect Tax - CA - Manufacturing

This position will primarily support Head Taxation on Indirect tax matters

Position reports to: Head- Taxation

Positions peer with: None

Positions reporting: None

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

1.- Monitoring GST Returns and proper claim of input tax credit

2.- VAT and GST refunds

3.- VAT Audit, GST Audit

4.- Handling of litigations

5.- Other Matters relating to Indirect Taxation

6.- Periodic Review of Contingent liability

Critical Tasks :

1.- Preparing various Indirect Tax litigations of the company and its subsidiaries. Ensuring monthly payment of GST and filing of GST Returns of all the locations.

2. Liasoning with the Indirect Tax Department on various Indirect Taxation matters such as monitoring of notices and various correspondences with the indirect tax department.

3.- Interpretation and implementation of changes made by GST council.

4.- Timely GST tax computation, Tax payments and monitor filing of GST returns

5.- Handling mise day-to-day matters related to Indirect tax

Educational Background and Work Experience

Educational Background: Chartered Accountant

Work Experience: The incumbent should have 10 years' experience. Candidate with good communication skill should have hands-on experience in Accounts and taxation field
