Overview :

The Electrification team leader will be responsible for building and leading a team working on various as aspects of product development involving Electrification. This role requires close collaboration with local/global peers, local and global leaders to deliver value output.

The Successful candidate require skills in Power Electronics, electrical machines, battery management and controls.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and implement the technology & Engineering road map ahead of competition. Find ways to grow and sustain a strategic relationship with global Research and development groups.

- Drive the deployment of standard engineering practices across the team, ensuring effective project and resource prioritization and allocation of resources.

- Evolve appropriate metrics for team accountability and delivery.

- Responsible for delivering projects on time, within costs targets, and meeting the customer's specifications

- Ongoing identification of recruiting, mentoring and development of the engineering talent capable of becoming the technical leaders for the future.

- Support and demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach in working with internal and external colleagues.

Candidate Profile :

- A minimum of 15 years overall experience with specific experience leading teams in Engineering & technology function.

- Hands on experience doing design and development of Electrical power-train with involvement in designing/selection, sizing, qualification of power electronics, electrical machine, Energy storage systems etc.

Experience working closely with partners to develop and validate required systems preferably experience on doing electrification

- Experience working with global teams and as part of large virtual teams.

- B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication Or Mechatronics
