Team Leader - Analytics - NBFC (6-12 yrs)
The role is based on an Indian NBFC, where they would prefer a candidate from the same Industry.
Education Qualification: BE or Master in Statistics - Must
Principal Accountabilities:
- To oversee and assist team members achieve progress in individual work areas.
- Provide strong analytics through leadership to solve various problems across customer life-cycle - acquisition/targeting programs, product & pricing strategies, segmentation, cross-sell programs, portfolio management, retention strategies, etc.
- Provide regular business performance monitoring and data driven insights to senior management and product teams.
- Work with multiple product teams/stakeholders, understand key business objectives.
- Deliver other adhoc analyses as needed.
- Managing the interface with external and internal stakeholders for providing timely, accurate and updated information on the portfolio.
- Familiarity with relational databases and knowledge of SQL; Experience working with large data sets and tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, etc.
- Ability to synthesize unstructured data and find actionable themes/insights using SPSS/Python/R.
- Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to connect business requirements to data-mining objectives and business benefit. Demonstrated ability in gathering requirements, designs, plans and estimates
- Risk management Policy monitoring, updating, global best practices.
