Team Lead - TBML (Trade based AML Monitoring) for leading private sector bank in Mumbai.

- The AML Analyst is a member of the AML department responsible for investigating customer transactions for trade based money laundering, CMO based money laundering and other remittances, identify suspicious transactions/activity and report to AML compliance officer.

- The role requires understanding of AML concepts in several areas like - AML investigation workflows and case management, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting, review of and other periodical reporting to regulators and internal senior management.

- Role Description:

- #Scrutinizing accounts PAN India for any suspicious or irregular #transactions with respect to #trade, #CMO and #remittances .

- To raise alerts to respective RM/Business for any suspicious transaction trends in these accounts

- Analyzing reverts to conclude if the account transactions should be reported to the Financial Investigation Unit.

- Analyzing the existing processes for loop holes and suggesting process improvements and changes in the software parameters for the same as well as subsequent coordination with IT to get the changes implemented.

- Guiding branches/RMs during #tbml #investigations and educating them on ways and means to identify money laundering and the Bank's policy regarding the same.

- #STR (Suspicious Transaction Reporting) to Financial Investigation Unit, India

- Compliance of existing policies in light of any new circulars or guidelines issued by the R.B.I and other statutory bodies.

- Various regulatory reporting's to FIU/ RBI and SEBI and Senior Management

- Audit deliverables to IAD

- RBI Review deliverables

- Stakeholder management with all internal and external customers
