Team Lead - Taxation

- We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Taxation to join our team in Hyderabad within the FMCG industry.

- The ideal candidate will have 4-10 years of experience in handling taxation matters, with a deep understanding of tax laws, compliance, and regulations, particularly within the FMCG sector.

- As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the taxation function, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and leading a team of professionals to achieve optimal tax strategies and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the taxation team to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, compliance, and

reporting.

- Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance including GST, VAT, income tax, and other applicable taxes.

- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and provide guidance on various tax matters to internal stakeholders.

- Identify and implement strategies to optimize the companys tax position and mitigate any tax risks.

- Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities for tax-related matters.

- Prepare and review tax filings, returns, and other required documentation in compliance with the applicable laws.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4 to 10 years of experience in taxation, preferably in the FMCG industry.

- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, including GST, VAT, income tax, and transfer pricing.

- Proven experience in managing a team and leading tax compliance and reporting activities.

- In-depth understanding of tax regulations, laws, and policies applicable to the FMCG sector.

- Experience in handling tax audits, assessments, and disputes.
