About the Job:
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead for our Finance department at a leading social sector consulting firm.
- In this role, you will oversee financial analysis, reporting, and data management to support decision-making and enhance program evaluation.
- You will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Lead the analysis of financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to donors, teams, management, and the Board of Directors.
Data Coordination & Accuracy:
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather and verify financial data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
Performance Metrics:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for program evaluation and impact assessment.
Data Management Systems:
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking, collating, and analyzing both financial and programmatic data.
- Liaise with external vendors and partners to implement and enhance data management and reporting systems.
Team Guidance:
Provide guidance and support to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in data analysis and reporting tasks.
Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about best practices and industry trends in financial analysis and reporting to ensure the use of cutting-edge methods and tools.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed to support financial planning and stability.
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems within the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certification is a plus).
- Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, and data management, ideally within the social sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and data management systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
