Team Lead - Communications - Philanthropy Foundation

Our Client is an India's leading strategic philanthropy foundation based at Mumbai.

Role : Team Lead Communications

Location : Mumbai

Yrs of experience : 7-10 yrs

This position will lead and direct the efforts of the marketing, communications and public relations team and coordinate at the strategic and operational levels with the other functions of the program.

Programmatic Responsibilities:

- Creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing, communications, amplification and public relations strategy that will help bring visibility to the team

- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and effective dissemination of all organization publications and platforms (such as website, annual report, philanthropy and development content, newsletters)

- Create speaking opportunities and provide adequate avenues to drive thought leadership for the Organization's senior management as well as our pool of engaged philanthropists and non-profit leaders at national and global events to reach new audiences

- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance

- Develop and monitor a Communications & Amplification plan to track the impact of our efforts in these areas, and partner with external agencies as required in doing so

- Engage with cross-functional teams, as required, throughout the organization

Management Responsibilities:

- Mentor and lead a team of dedicated personnel including specialists in PR, design, digital content, and editing to execute on strategy and operational plans

- Contribute to wider team and organization-level management and growth activities such as team management, staffing, hiring, reporting, team culture and engagement, financial planning, and compliance

- Ability to work with and lead network teams - pulling on resources from across the organization to be able to deliver a high quality and impactful journey to our donors

- Support a peer-group through ideation, brainstorming, strategic planning, risk assessment, prioritization and problem-solving, related to program activities of team.
