Team Lead - Actuary - Valuation Team - 5+ years - Mumbai

Location: Mumbai

We are seeking a talented Actuary with expertise in valuation, modelling, and reporting, Statutory Valuation / Prophet Modelling experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and perform calculations for periodic valuations and new projects.

2. Ensure timely availability and processing of actuarial data for monthly valuations.

3. Run and modify complex actuarial models with proper documentation.

4. Analyse valuation results, conduct cause-effect analysis, and recommend improvements.

5. Prepare reports for IRDA, Board, and internal teams while ensuring accuracy

Key Requirements:

1. Minimum 5+ years of actuarial experience, with exposure to statutory valuation or Prophet Modelling.

2. Strong understanding of actuarial principles, valuation techniques, and model modification.

3. Ability to analyse data trends and recommend improvements.

4. Experience in reporting (Solvency, FCR, IRDA) and ability to assist teams in drafting reports.

5. Leadership skills to guide junior team members and manage tasks efficiently.
