Taxation Professional - CA - Manufacturing

CA with around 15 years experience in a reputed manufacturing industry with :

- Expertise in the area of Direct & Indirect Tax matters relating to Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, Service Tax, VAT, CST, Excise & Customs.

- Experience of dealing with Tax Authorities and Tax Consultants for completion of various assessments, audit and litigation proceedings

- Hand on Experience with Treasury and Finance matters relating to Finalization of Accounts etc.

- Team leader with strong interpersonal, analytical, proactive problem solving skills

- An Effective Communicator and good relationship-building partner with internal and external peers

CORE COMPETENCIES

A. Tax Planning, Compliances and Management

a) Responsible for matter relating to Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, Service Tax, VAT, CST, Excise & Customs.

b) Interacting with the Tax Authorities and Tax Consultants towards completion of assessment and Litigation proceedings

c) Dealing with the Tax, Internal & Statutory Auditors to ensure timely completion of Audits

d) Ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns and deposit of various statutory taxes as per respective due date

e) Guide and advice management/different business functions on any relevant tax law/regulatory changes and ensuring compliance of same

f) Implementing Global tax team policies, strategies and projects in accordance with instruction of the Global tax team

g) Expertise on various tax compliances and documentations relating to International taxation in accordance with tax provisions laid down in DTAA

h) Review of all Key agreements from Tax Compliances and Risks perspective

i) Experience in handling the Advanced Pricing Agreement (APA) assignments
