JOB PURPOSE :&nbsp; - To support the Head Education to deploy the Strategy for Education vertical and create and maintain a process for program monitoring JOB SPECIFICATIONS :&nbsp; 1. Support in Development of Strategy 1.1. Create templates for stakeholder need analysis and liaise with implementation team across India to gather information on various needs 1.2. Support in prioritizing programmatic interventions in consultation with the other Leads 1.3. Support in converting high level financial projections into State wise and Vertical wise programmatic allocations. 2. Support in Deployment of Strategy 2.1. Support Head Education in rolling out programs as per the strategy 2.2. Support Head Education in assessing strengths of various implementation teams and creating plans for strengthening teams 2.3. Support Head Education to monitor the implementation of the program to ensure that the qualitative and quantitative objectives of the program are met in a timely manner. 3. Data Analytics and Insights 3.1. Understand the needs of top management reporting and respond quickly to information sought in various formats 3.2. Proactively collate date from various programs and synthesize financial and programmatic data to present insights to Head Education 3.3. Ensure availability, timely deployment and effective utilization of resources (human resource, finance, etc). 4. Team Management and Leadership 4.1. Provide effective mentoring to reportees to develop their skills and capabilities. 4.2. Conduct periodic progress meetings. 4.3. Work towards strengthening the capacity of the team and build a good working culture. Knowledge: - Understanding and familiarity with Government Education Ecosystem in the country - Knowledge and understanding of national and international issues and priorities in education - Substantial experience and knowledge of strategic management frameworks, effective financial and budgetary control and project management. Skills/Personal traits: - Results and target driven - Solution focused - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (especially Microsoft Excel) - Ability to analyse information, evaluate options, and to think and plan strategically - Experience of managing and developing a team and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and build relationships with multiple stakeholders - Excellent presentation skills - Good negotiation skills; the ability to challenge colleagues effectively in order to achieve the best outcome for Trust - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing in English and familiar in local language (Marathi).
