Key Responsibilities: - Co-develop and refine the strategy for Fund Raising with the board by identifying specific opportunities of impact within the large spectrum of Tata Trusts Projects that are currently unaddressed or insufficiently supported - Evangelise the vision of Tata Trusts to develop a core group of donors; raise financial commitments as per the organization's targets - Ensure widespread outreach to attract high quality of proposals for review and selection - Engage India's most creative and innovative minds to curate effective scalable funding for wide spectrum of developmental projects undertaken by Tata Trusts; - Establish a team of passionate and effective professionals to manage donor enrolment, on-boarding, donor servicing, among others - Manage an expanding network of programs and partners for ongoing / repeat relationships Candidate Profile: Senior professionals in leadership roles looking for a purposeful and challenging role and keen to make a difference are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be a: - An Investment Banking professional with significant exposure to public private partnerships program (funding and oversight) and commitment to make a difference in the developmental sector in India. The key considerations for this position include: - Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in management or public health positions - Post graduate degree in Business Administration - Proven experience in leading and managing a team of people - A mature negotiator with a track record of delivering new partnerships - A thorough understanding of financial statements, the ability to manage a budget and prepare proposals for fund raising - Ability to align and enthuse multiple stakeholders including sector experts, research & academia, funders and media Key Deliverables: The candidate will deliver the following: - Set clear 5-year goals for RM - Mobilise resources as per goals - Ensure widespread outreach to attract high quality of donors In terms of allocation of time, the Head RM is likely to dedicate: - 40-60% in developing the pipeline for external resources - 30-40% in overseeing the deployment of fund in high quality ideas and investment opportunities - 10-20% in reviewing impact and performance, guiding donor relations team from time to time
